Jul 30, 2008 Bottle. Dusty, dry, malty, slightly catty aroma. Minerally. Yellow-golden, clear pour with strong carbonation and a large, fizzy white rocky head. Taste is extremely dry and dusty with a bit of a crispy cracker overtone. Lots more mineral water. Light body, dry and a touch unrelenting, a really nice American take! Have to get used to its character.

May 27, 2007 From tap pours golden with lots of head. Nice flavor with a litle hoppy flavor. Nice smooth finish.

Mar 26, 2008 Draft->plastic cup (tasting@brewery): Pours a huge, frothy head that exhibits good lacing atop of a yellow body. Aroma is of grain, celery, sweat, and vegetables. The body is medium, sticky texture, average carbonation with an astringent finish. The flavor is average, lightly sweet, acidic, and bitter with a finish of vinegar.
Not a favorite of mine, but this beer is an OK drink, especially if you’re handed one at a party.

Jun 4, 2008 Draft. Pours gold with a thin white head. Fruity and tart aroma with lightly sour apple and earth. Medium body. Flavor has a very basic malt profile, also grass, earth, and a bit of fruity sourness. Not bad, drinkable.

Aug 17, 2008 This was probably the best summer ale that I have tasted. It had a nice color to it and didn’t lack on flavor like alot of them. Flying fish puts out good stuff.

Jun 23, 2005 Bottle: Vibrant yellow, clear, small to medium white fizzy head, spotty lacing, moderate carbonation. Soft spiced grassy nose, not getting much floral aspect at all. Lightly spiced, malty, but otherwise more like a spicy full-bodied Pilsner than a Saison. Decent body, mediocre mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. Drinkable, but not terribley interesting. Jun 28, 2008 Pour was golden with a little head. Nose had some corn and a bit of butter to it. Flavour had a thin hop profile but was assertive enough to make a great session beer.
