Commercial Description:
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

A lighter summer beer. Not too distinctive, but still pretty good. A slight bitter aftertaste.

Bright golden. Toasty, herbal, spicy aroma. Clean yeast character, faint pale malts and a little bit of spiciness. Also some yeast and minerals. Quick, refreshing.

Old notes (2000: Beige with a spicy, yeasty-fruity aroma, the carbonation is spritzy but forceful, and the palate showing the malty-yeasty-spicy combination of a grisette, but lighter in body. 7 3 6 3 14 = 3.3

(BB 8/26/03) Very fruity/hoppy nose. Notes of orange. Light smooth palate with a light bitterness. Malty (wheat) finish. Good quencher. Not as good as last years example.

Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty, fruity and slightly herbal. Touch of must. A medium bodied sassion (? ) Malts are fruity and mild. Hops are slightly spicy. Light and refreshing. Nice mild flavors. Well balanced. Light and refreshing this would make a great summer session beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pale yellow, no head. Hoppy and toffee nose. Dry and sharp but nothing special. (Rating before 5/2/6/3/12 - 2.8) RERATE NJ August 2006- obviosly I like it a bit better this time - didn*t get toffe in the nose. More an light hops nose and a refreshing kind of rapsberry taste.

Certainly drinkable. Not a lot going on. I like the mild spicy touch (pepper, clove?) that shows up after a decent malt introduction. Only decent beer I could find in Southern NJ, except for that Sierra Neveda....

An average beer but pretty decent to enjoy the hot months of the year, some thin & bland flavors though
