Dec 20, 2003 Kind of fuzzy yellow color with some wheat and floral in the aroma. Kind of watered down, but some wheat amd malt in the flavor. Somewhat light as well. Overall not bad, but kind of too watered down for my liking.

Aug 6, 2004 08.05.04 12oz bottle. I’ve had lots of this this summer. Pours a clear golden yellow with average, fading head. Aromas are light, citrus, some spice. Palate is wet and refreshing, more spice, reminds of a wit. Finishes on a sour note, acidic, refreshing. A quaffable summer beer, but nothing amazing.

Aug 6, 2004 Slightly yeasty alcoholic aroma - a little citrus, some toasty malt. Flavor is citrus at the front of the tounge, then a dry hoppiness. Sweet finish. Meh.

Jun 26, 2007 Draft. Poured a hazy, straw color, with a fairly large off-white head. Aroma of wheat, spice and yeast. flavor is primarily yeast and wheat; earthy undertones with fruit, herbs, and mild hops. Thin bodied. Refreshing, but nothing spectacular.

Jul 31, 2005 Poured a hazy golden with a small white head. A strong wheat/grass aroma and taste. A refreshing summer ale, but a little too much wheat for me. Had the after taste of Cheerios.

Jun 6, 2005 Lemon citrus aroma with an earthy spice and a hint of barnyard. Clear golden yellow with a rocky white head. Light flavor, some metallic maltiness and a light grassy-bitter finish. Light body, watery, fairly soft carbination. Good on a hot summer night. Thanks to zathrus13 for the bonus bottle.

May 10, 2009 (Bottle) A good, if somewhat unremarkable beer. I am never quite sure what to expect from beers marketed as "summer ales" and I tend to be disappointed in them. This beer was less malty and more hoppy. I did not really notice any influence of the wheat--and thankfully no sourness. I’ve had more or less good experiences with Flying Fish Brewing Co. but in my opinion, this is not among their best beers.
