Commercial Description:
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

Aroma - Honey, light toasted grain, few earthy notes, distant spice

Appearance - Clear gold, rather meager foamy white head that collapses rapidly, without much lace

Flavor - Light malty sweetness barely comes into play, as a soft bitterness starts quickly, and continues into a pleasing dry finish.

Palate - Light body, medium carbonation, crisp and dry, leaving a very clean palate

Overall - Pleasant enough for a refresher, but without much depth or interest. Fairly bland for a saison.

Just didn’t do much for me, and I have no idea why I returned to FF. Poured pretty dark color for a "farmhouse ale," and had nothing farmhouse-like about it. Just another amber ale with a mild showing in the hop category, somewhat like an ESB. Carmel malts dominated, but it had a slightly bitter punch at the end. I think they missed the mark entirely on this style.

one of the better summer ales around. not to much hoppes for a summer ale but still very nice. very smooth with a nice finish, perfect for summer events.

Slightly speckled pale golden color. The nose is plastickey with some light fruit and a fairly big hoppiness. The body is quite hoppy for the style with a nice fruitiness with plastic coming through. A spritzy beginning moves into the middle with citrus and resiny wood notes. Finishes smooth with a resiny hoppiness. Not much of a saison I must say, more of a hoppy blonde or something.

Minimal aroma, small head. Good color. Stays bitter the whole time. Overall a mild beer.
