Commercial Description:
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

2002 Edition: It seems a little darker and a tad sweeter than last year’s version. This years edition has a little more body (which is welcomed IMHO). 2001 Edition: Nice mid summer beer. Thirst quenching, moderately hoppy. Golden yellow with a slight hazy appearance. Just a nice summertime, on the backporch, sunset kind of beer.

Great golden color with rich head. Had a little more bitterness than I like. Overall, not a bad beer.

A light, yellowish colored ale with a slight head. It isn’t one of the best looking beers around being its a little on the cloudy side. Extremely drinkable though as light citrus and wheat flavors are well balanced. Little to no aftertaste. This ale has become one of my summertime staples in the refridgerator and at the bars that carry it.

this should be a favorite summer brew as it represents great things in beer. it is pleasantly clean and sweet tasting and the sweetness is genuine. it has a very good hop aroma and taste for a summer brew. the body and yeastiness is moderate and just right for summer with the most pleasant citrus notes i have tasted in a summer brew. the balance is fine. just velvety enough to still remain refreshing. seems easy now for brewers to just knock you over the head with volume, yet clearly more beer drinkers are looking for quality and subtle refinment particularly in the summer. this years 2008 is no dissapointment. treat yourself if you find it in the cask!

Fairly flavorful and pleasing. Finishes crisp and has a full bodied flavor. Excellent summer beer, I love it.

Aroma: sweet citrus, coriander, marshmellows, summer flowers, sweet fruits, pineapples, and bananas
Appearance: cloudy yellow, white head, slight lacing
Flavor: sweet bananas, coriander, cream, spices, cloves, and bananas
Palate: very smooth, sweet, spice and banana cream aftertaste
Overall: very similar to some Belgium style beers
