Pours a beautiful golden color with a rich fluffy head. Hints or wheat, coriander and fruit. Very mild beer...could have had a bit heavier body, but finished crisp and smooth nonetheless. By the end of my glass the beer began to lose its "flavor" but still a great choice on a hot summer day. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA

I liked the fact that FF did not fall into the common trap of making their Summer Ale overly flowery in aroma and citrusy in flavor. Very quenching with tart finish overlaying a short hop bite. My second fav. in the FF line (ESB is 1). gws57 (1137), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA

Dark yellow pour with a nice lacey white head. Wheaty, malty nose with a lemon and banana nose, some fruitiness and a mild finish. Good bite. WISEGUY572 (1246), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Taste is fruity and heavily scented with floral hops. I did not detect much wheat in the flavor, but some of the characteristic yeast taste that I associate with Belgian wheat ales was there. Indeed, a nice summer beer, though there are many German wheats that I would take first!
