Commercial Description:
A tribute to the highly drinkable ""every day"" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process

THOUGHTS: I’ve always avoided this beer, but after finding that saisons aren’t scary, I decided to try it. It had some funk, but mild enough to please the masses. At least the masses of beer lovers. Really refreshing summer beer. I didn’t really get the wheat in the aroma, but I’m just glad it didn’t have that grainy aroma of most FF beer. I think this is one of their better beers. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, golden orange with a small, white head that mostly diminished and left fair lacing. The aroma was a hint a caramel malt, light citrus hops (lime), and light to moderate horse blanket yeast. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and bitter, and moderately acidic; while the finish was moderate to heavily acidic, moderately bitter, and sour with an average duration. There was a little caramel malt then some funky yeast and citrus hop with a little lemon and a little wheat. The light to medium body was dry with fizzy carbonation and a dry and moderate to heavy astringent finish.

12 oz bottle split with Pwn3d. Surprised to discover that this beer was not an american wheat but in fact was actually a saison. It was crisp and refreshing. Aroma was nice. Body was light orange- yellow.

Pours clear with a golden apple juice color. There is minimal smell with a faint hint of fruit and spice. Taste of lemon and apples with aspects of wheat, rye, and grass. Very refreshing for a summer day, reminds me of being outdoors.

Bottle. Pours a light golden hazy body with a white head. A well spiced hop beer. With sweet esters of banana and apple. Easy drinking and lightly herbal.

This beer pours golden and show nice notes of light citus hops which then translates into a crisp light hop flavor. It does drink pretty crisp!

Draught as the "Grey Lodge 10th Anniversary Dunkel Farmhouse". Tried to get this one from the cask, but they hadn’t started pouring yet :( Light golden-amber color and a very light malty aroma. Taste was light, sweet & grainy. Not my favorite style or the best beer around, but pretty refreshing for a summer beer on an exceptionally warm day in October.
