It had some funk, but mild enough to please the masses. At least the masses of beer lovers. Really refreshing summer beer. I didn’t really get the wheat in the aroma, but I’m just glad it didn’t have that grainy aroma of most FF beer. I think this is one of their better beers.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, golden orange with a small, white head that mostly diminished and left fair lacing. The aroma was a hint a caramel malt, light citrus hops (lime), and light to moderate horse blanket yeast. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and bitter, and moderately acidic; while the finish was moderate to heavily acidic, moderately bitter, and sour with an average duration. There was a little caramel malt then some funky yeast and citrus hop with a little lemon and a little wheat. The light to medium body was dry with fizzy carbonation and a dry and moderate to heavy astringent finish. jredmond (1056), New Jersey, USA

Surprised to discover that this beer was not an american wheat but in fact was actually a saison. It was crisp and refreshing. Aroma was nice. Body was light orange- yellow. keepersj12 (810), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

There is minimal smell with a faint hint of fruit and spice. Taste of lemon and apples with aspects of wheat, rye, and grass. Very refreshing for a summer day, reminds me of being outdoors.

Tried to get this one from the cask, but they hadn’t started pouring yet :( Light golden-amber color and a very light malty aroma. Taste was light, sweet & grainy. Not my favorite style or the best beer around, but pretty refreshing for a summer beer on an exceptionally warm day in October.
