| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 9, 2004 Clear golden body and smallish, cottony white head that leaves some nice lacing despite my sister’s use of industrial strength streak-free dish detergent on her glasses. Aroma of bubble gum esters, pale malt, Noble hops, and light band-aid phenols. Nice balanced ester, sweet malt and orange citrus flavor. Considerable Noble hop flavor and bitterness. This is a pleasant surprise. The low ratings baffle me. In my book, this is a solid, enjoyable American-made Belgian-style beer.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 9, 2004 Definately not a traditional winter brew. Deep golden color almost like a heffeweizen with an unfiltered appearance. Fluffy white head, good lacing. Fruity aroma with apricot & honey. Sweet but not overly so, Reminded me of a cross between MagicHat #9 and Hacker-Pschor Weiss. Overall a pretty nice but different "winter" beer from a brewery that is normally unimpressive. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 5, 2004 Belgians just aren’t my style but this one is as good as any I’ve had. Nice pale-gold pour with a white head. Flavor was yeasty, fruity and sweet - too sweet for me. jeffc666 (1897), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 3, 2004 Clear golden body topped by a small white head. The aroma is sweet mildly fruity and kinf of generic. The flavor is the same, more sweetness though. Medium to light syrupy body. iratherbe (255), Marlton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 18, 2004 Bottled. Sampled at a wine & beer tasting. Alcohol well hid in the yeasty, bready & fruity nose and sweeter malt flavorings. A medium mouthfeel and not particulary heavy bodied or that much spicyness in your face - sometimes a good thing. An admirable entry. jeffin7 (610), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 11, 2004 Aroma of barnyard. Flavor is of berries and a mild barnyard. A bit 2 dimensional and a bit to much berry but drinkable and pleasent. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA
