Commercial Description:
At the request of you hopheads, we produced this I.P.A. with a deep golden color, plenty of hop bitterness balanced by malt sweetness. Because of the extensive dry hopping, there’s a floral and citrus hop finish. It’s then lightly filtered to maintain the appropriate body and flavor. The beer features a combination of American, English and German malts to balance the large amount of hops. The HopFish also uses three hop varieties at five different times and has been dry-hopped for two weeks with 22lbs of Nugget whole leaf hops.

Bottle: Pours a clear copper color with a white head. Aroma, some floral and grassy hops, pale malts, some yeast. Flavor, light citrus notes, pale malts, some floral hops as well, a bit bready. Well balanced, pretty good stuff.

Bottle sampled on 1/21/07: Pours a transparent copper orange with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet crystal malt with a nice grapefruity hop presence. Body starts lightly sweet and caramely slowly revealing some citrusy hoppiness before a slightly sticky bittersweet finish. A good IPA.

12oz. bottle from eaglefan538. Aroma of citrus and bread notes. Copper body with off white head. Malt backbone holds back some of citrus flavor. Sugary and mild to medium bitterness. Mild dry bitterness and has a sticky sugar citrus aftertaste on palate.

(Bottle) Pours amber. Aroma of resin and toffee with some citrusy, fruity and floral undertones. Also some butter present. Flavour starts buttery, fruity and citrus/grapefruit hoppy. Medium bitter and light dry. Light to medium body.
