Smell is of hops some citrus and fresh cut grass. Taste is of pine and hops but you can also taste a malty sweetness that is very pleasing. It all ends with a classic bitterness and a the tickle of carbonation, alcohol not a factor here. I liked this stuff alot. My only problem was a very thin mouthfeel alexanderj (2280), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 5, 2006 Bottle. Poured a light amber/gold, clear. Visible carbonation; small white head. Aroma of pine, hops and malt. Taste was much of the same, reminds me of a double IPA. I really enjoyed. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 14, 2006 Citrus and pinelike hops don’t quite overshadow the toasted malts in the aroma. Clear, burnished copper coloured body is topped by a fizzy and light white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Herbal and citrus hops are fairly strong over a toasted honey malt base that leaves a lingering sweetness that isn’t quite cleansed by the fairly assertive bitterness. Some fruitiness is apparent in the aftertaste. Dry medium body with hard bubbled carbonation that prickles the tongue. Sampled at Mondial 2006. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

Smell is full of hops and sugar and some malts to balance it out. Taste is kind of sweet and hoppy but it works out really nice. Good stuff. TURDFERGUSON (1606), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA

Rather light version of the style, at least as I have gotten used to. Has that weird aroma again that I got from the Town Hall Masala Mama, dont know what it is but its familiar, and unpleasent. This is a crappy review. It probably didnt help you at all. Sorry. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 26, 2006 12 oz bottle Poured with a intense carbonation to a thick frothy off white head . Plenty of hop aroma for a regular IPA. Brilliant copper in color. Nice malty flavor for a IPA Some carmel and a hint of roast in there . A lot more than I expected. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 25, 2006 GABF 2006: Clear golden copper color with an off-white head. Light notes of citrusy hops laid over caramel malt sweetness. More citrusy hops in the flavor but bigger than the aroma presented. Sweet malt backs it up. Great balance. Nice IPA.
