Commercial Description:
At the request of you hopheads, we produced this I.P.A. with a deep golden color, plenty of hop bitterness balanced by malt sweetness. Because of the extensive dry hopping, there’s a floral and citrus hop finish. It’s then lightly filtered to maintain the appropriate body and flavor. The beer features a combination of American, English and German malts to balance the large amount of hops. The HopFish also uses three hop varieties at five different times and has been dry-hopped for two weeks with 22lbs of Nugget whole leaf hops.

12 oz. bottle via trade with Ty5592 - Pours a clear amber color with a nice size off white head. Light lacing. Has a light floral hop aroma. Nice hop and malt balance. A smooth, easy drinking, medium body IPA. A good beer. Thanks Ty

Has a pretty pungent citrus aroma. Copper color with almost no head. Flavor is bitter but where did those hops go? Overwhelmed with malt and grass. Somewhat water in body.

GABF 2006. The beer pours to a sexy glowing 24k gold body. Thin white head. The aroma is lightly hayish with some noble-ish hops. Nothing really special. The flavor is sweet corny cereal and some noble-ish hops. Moderate palate.

Pours a nice light copper- deep gold with a fluffy whte head. Resiny and citrus hop aroma with light sticky malt backbone. Flavor is nice and smooth with a decent hopping rate and a nice clean crisp bitter finish. Very easy drinking session IPA with a good amount of hops.

From a bottle. Smells lightly of hops. Minimal head with light lacing. Light amber/red color, but easy to see through. Tastes of roasted malt, then hops in the aftertaste. This beers gives you that iron feeling in the back of your throat, so it’s definitely hoppy.

Bottle from illinismitty! Pours a medium cloudy amber color with a very small head and no lacing. Aroma is slightly hoppy with apricot and malt coming through. The flavor is slightly bland with a very slight clinical (medicinal) hint to it. No stand out hop presence that i was hoping for although as i drink more, it appears a little bit. Good for a session beer and i could drink more than one of these in a sitting. Thanks Sean!

Bottle - from sampler pack. Very little hop flavor for an IPA, and not very good hops. Disappointed.

Large frothy white head. Big carbonation. Head recedes slowly and leaves a nice hseet of lacing. Nice resinous hoppy aroma. Some flowers and grapefruit. Light roasted malts. Color is a dark amber. Little bit of bitterness with plenty of hops and roasted grains. Light malts for balance. Dry and resinous again. Little pine. Bitterness is very crisp and slightly harsh. Finish is dry and bitter. A decent IPA.
