Sweet fruity aromas, nearly too sweet and to the point of seeming like fruit cake, or aging over-ripe fruit. Thews scent just is not pleasant to me. Average feel. Flavors of apricot dominate. Some caramel and green apples also mingle. LIght bitterness in the middle and finish, but long bitterness in the linger that makes you want to take another swallow, but to clear it, but alas it returns. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 10, 2008 Bottle. A light golden body with citrus pine and hop resin. Earthiness and hemp with a moderate malt backbone. A decent ipa with a grassy bitterness. Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 17, 2008 i wouldn’t quite call this a beer for ’hopheads’ but it was a nice IPA. It was well made and well balanced with just a bit of an extra kick of hops but not overboard. It pours a nice brownish orange with a very nice little head. The aroma is hops with the malt backbone coming through. I like. theisti (1693), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Updated: Aug 27, 200812 oz bottle courtesy of Thaichile. Pour is golden orange with a nice settling 3 inch off white head. Head falls slowly to reveal pretty lacing. Quite a few visible carbonation bubbles. Aroma of sweet malt and orange citrus hop. Nice inter play between malt and hop on the nose. Nice grassy earthiness present underneath the initial smell. Taste is more earthly sweet biscuit than orange citrus hops, but they are both there. The finish is long, grassy, with minerals and bitterness. Palate is medium body, with not much carbonation. Nice IPA. Thanks Mark. daknole (3032), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 24, 2008 Bottle, with an amber pour. Decent head. Aroma is very nice with malt and hops. Juicy flavors hit the palate but the hops lack. Pale ale comes to mind with a mild hop finish. Not bad, but not great. NomDeBeer (400), Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Like many other people here, I’ve got to say that this is a mild IPA. Solid brew, very drinkable, but not potent enough for a true hophead. robinvboyer (1444), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Nice hoppy aroma, but pretty tame really. Some nice citrus notes, but not big. Some mealy, graininess in the flavour along with the nice floral hops. A mild IPA. Fruitfly (59), , Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Aug 6, 2008 Quite fresh 35.5 cl bottle. A deep goldish amber with a rather frothy, fine head. Citrus and piney aroma first is followed by a rather rich maltiness. Medium body and a carmamel flavor that is not as dynamic as many an IPA. Medium bitter finish with astringent afternotes.
