Commercial Description:
At the request of you hopheads, we produced this I.P.A. with a deep golden color, plenty of hop bitterness balanced by malt sweetness. Because of the extensive dry hopping, there’s a floral and citrus hop finish. It’s then lightly filtered to maintain the appropriate body and flavor. The beer features a combination of American, English and German malts to balance the large amount of hops. The HopFish also uses three hop varieties at five different times and has been dry-hopped for two weeks with 22lbs of Nugget whole leaf hops.

I love this stuff. It’s not overly hopped and has a very slight hint of citrus. Not as bitter as I was thinking it would be

One of my favorite IPA’s. The aroma you get when poured, very good. The flavor of this beer, well just try it. If you dont like hoppy beers than don’t bother. I rank this right up there with DogfishHead 60min IPA

Awesome IPA, deep amber color, soft but thick fluffy white head, decent lacing around the glass, aroma full of hops, citrus, pine & orange peel, medium in body, very drinkable, smooth, flavors of bitter hops, orange, & pine, big malty profile as well to balance the beer rather nicely, great combination of a caramel-like malt & bitter hop finish

This one, is a good IPA. Not the best, not as good as Hop Devil, but it’s worth trying if you are an IPA fan. Hoppy smell, and not so overwhelming hop flavor.

Really good IPA from FF. It’s got a fruity finish to it and is decently bitter. All hop heads should give this one a try.

At NJ Craft Brew Fest 2005: The best IPA that day (not that many available, however). A solid IPA that delivers its many levels of bitterness and sweetness. Will want to pick up a sixer and rerate.

Bottle - Pours nice redish amber color with small light head. Produces nice lacing throughout. Medium hoppy aroma - very pelasant. Nice smooth mouth feel with hint of citrus and slight bitterness. Overall a very drinkable smooth IPA.

On tap at Andy’s 3/9/05 I was surprised to find this was on tap, found out it tapped the day before. Very delicious, excellent IPA, I wanted more but I had to drive with a passenger. Sadly I won’t be able to get back before its all drunk up
