Sweet aroma with plenty of cherry and other fruit flavors. Taste is pure cherry. Still a fruit beer - but better than most. Nice to try and as a light dessert. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 22, 2006 Good stuff taking their very nice dubbel and lacing it with cherry. Subtle, not overwhelming cherry mingles well giving the dubbel some underlying sweetness and a slight sour note. Very nice and, as I’ve come to enjoy, a nice show of restraint in a world of bigger is better beers. swirl (267), collingswood, New Jersey, USA

Not being a fan of fruit in my beer this was one impressive brew very good and a must for anyone who can find it. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 10, 2005 Tap at Andy’s, nice golden color with reddish tones, nose was sweet, pretty much just cherries. Taste was fantastic, with the sweetness of the cherries hitting early and late, and the character of the dubbel carrying the middle. If this had been the only beer I had that night, it would have been worth the hour+ drive. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA
