This beer has a lighter then normal toffee/caramel flavor which makes it quite drinkable. Also has a slight cherry aftertaste. One of the better oktoberfests that I have tried. pineypower (1095), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2009 Bottle thanks to Dmac. Pours out a mostly clear, attractive orange color with a quickly fading off white head. Aroma is of sweet malts and a slight bitterness. Flavor is sweet malts, grain, some caramel, and a light bitterness. For this style rather solid. vtafro (475), , New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 18, 2009 12 oz bottle from Jonathan Ron. Pours a clear thinner bodied orange with an average sized foamy off white head. Grainy aroma with cereal notes, nutts, brown bread, light spice and citrus. Flavor is the same but slightly stronger but not strong enough to raise the flavor rating. Easily sessionable, solid entry for FF. haddon90 (1036), Alexandria, Virginia, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 30, 2009 On tap at some restaurant in Cape May, NJ. Beer arrived with a tiny bit of head on top. Sweet aroma of raisins and malt. Flavor was sweet raisins, malt and orange but not very powerful at all. No hops whatsoever. This isn’t my favorite style by any means but hey, tis’ the season for Oktoberfest beers to come out. It likely arrived from the brewery a day before I drank so it was very fresh. Drinkable but not memorable. patrickfannon (342), Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is deep and rich, with caramel maltiness throughout. Body is smooth, but studry. Another great brew from the Flying Fish fellows. kwerikson (100), burlington, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 27, 2009 poured a clear ruby red oarnge color. white bubbly head that quickly faded. a smooth flavor with not much kick to it. a litle tart on the tounge. smooth hoppiness that easy to drink, not bitter at all. i dont really get much maltiness out of it, but thats probally my palate. no real aftertaste to me, which i dont mind that much. its a decent brew for this time of the year.
