Commercial Description:
First released in 2002, and sold out in two weeks. A tribute to the classic Fest styles of Germany the O'Fish uses European malts hops and yeast. A beautiful reddish color, a savory malt profile and nice hop flavor, make this Fest beer quite drinkable. OktoberFish is great with food and especially great with Lederhosen.

Malts: Muessdoerffer Munich, Muessdoerffer Vienna, Pauls Amber, Dingemanns De-Bittered Black and Two-row pale
Hops: Horizon, Crystal
Yeast: Dusseldorf Alt
Original Gravity: 14.3 Plato
Formats: 1/2 kegs, 1/6 kegs, cask-conditioned
Availability: September 1 to November 1 (if it lasts that long)

It took me a good 5 minutes to pour this one. Way to much head! Poured amber with big white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Candy, fruit, sweet malt, and hop flavors present. Kind of light and overly sweet.

Bottle via trade with MrBendo. Nice aroma of biscuity malt with some pleasant grassy hops. Pours full amber with a nice white head. Toasted malt, mildly fruity, a hint of sweetness and some nice hops on the palate. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A very pleasant Oktoberfest. If it were available in my area, I’d drink it every fall for sure. Thanks Todd!

Deep amber, orange color. Small white head. Mild toasted malt nose with a floral hop balance. Sweet caramel malt flavor upfront with notes of dried fruit and brown sugar. Hops come through in the finish. Smooth and flavorful, you can drink several of these in one session. Nicely done.

Pours a transparent copper orange with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly toasted grainy caramel and German malts with a touch of noble hops. Body starts with a light caramel malty sweetness some decent bittering hop balance and a crisp, bittersweet finish. Very drinkable, but could use a little thicker body.

Reddish maltyness pouring into your pint glass, very dense tasting not much hop flavor noticable - there are better Oktoberfests...tries to taste like Spatan’s version. Just OK.

Bottle, Pours a nice deep red with a off white head. A dark aroma of malts and well balanced hops. Has a full body. Agood mouthfeel and robust fall beer. Lacked some of the spiciness I was looking for but a decent octoberfest beer. A good seasonal change

On tap at Old Man Rafferty’s in Asbury Park. Very nice reddish color with an off white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Full bodied beer. Flavor of malt, caramel and hops at the end. More hops and heavier then some other autumn releases. Overall, a nice brew however I would chose a couple of other O’fests over this.
