Deep red. Ludicrously overcarbonated, 100% head at first. Palate didn’t suffer too bad, was still OK. Nose roasty, light chocolate, flavor similar, a decent bitterness at the end.

This is one of the best porters that I have had. The pour was excellent a nice light brown head which sat on the cloudy dark brown body. The amoma was like roasted chocolate. This one had a creamy texture and a nice following of hops.

This one’s the color of a dark color. Head booms out of control, but eventually fades to a comfortable drinking size. When cold, this one’s a little bland, but it picks up steam as it warms. Dark chocolate and brown sugar make up the malt part of the flavor, but the esters are surprisingly strong, being bananas one sip, artificial grape the next and fig after that. Definitely does not need to be served cold.

Pours ruby colored with huge tan head and lace. Aroma of malt, toffee, and coffee. Tastes malty, with some malt, coffee, vanilla, and almonds at the finish. Nice complexity.

Pours with a frothy head with a lot of carbonation. Dark brown orange coloring almost completely opaque. Aroma is licorce/ maple syrup/ brown sugar. Has a taste of maple and chocolate and caramel with a minimal amount of bitterness.

Fizzy dark brown beer. Light brown head which quickly dissapates. Malty sweetness that has little raisin/fig/dark dried fruit character. Moderate bitterness. Light in the body, yet is does plesantly coat the mouth. Enjoyable beer.
