Commercial Description:
This irreverent beer is as hoppy and more bitter than the I.P.A, very strong in alcohol and as bold as the brother himself. WARNING - not for the squeamish or faint hearted.

On tap at the brew pub. Aroma is of hops. Appearance is amber with a fizzy white head. Flavor is strong of hops. Palate is dry and bitter. A good brew if you’re in the mood for something hoppy.

On-tap at the brewpub in New London, NH. Two finger white head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Almost clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Hoppy nose. Starts and finishes hoppy, brewer is right - "hoppier and more bitter than the IPA".

Cloudy golden color with no head. Aroma of hops with lingering sweetness. Flavor of spicy hops with caramel and a bitter finish. The palate is light and liquorous.

One tap at the brewery.

An adequate strong ale with decent hop bitterness blended with plenty of malt. While I’m not blown away by this beer, it seems among the better offerings at the Flying Goose.

Mild caramel malt and light American hops in the aroma. Clear amber-brown with shy off-white head that recedes to ring with some lacing. Stale orange hops and light caramel malt flavour. Medium body seems worty and under-attenuated especially combined with the low carbonation. Sampled at the brewpub with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Rastacouere.
