Flying Horse Royal Lager Beer

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a small white head. The aroma was sweet, tart, tangy and had an odd grape soda like element. The flavor was sweet, tart and fruity again with an odd grape soda like element. Medium length finish and medium body. Much better than I expected.

Pale gold with light white head / Mild, sweet, bread nose / Light body, sweet, with fair finish / Oddly perfumed flavors of honey, grapes, and bread / Somewhat disagreeable.

Large bottle. Not typically what I like but the options were limited at the Indian food restaurant so I thought I would give this a try. Typical bland lager, slightly skunky, very light on taste. Did go pretty good with the spicy curry though.

Poured a mild yellow, with a slightly off white head. Head diminished quickly, and left no lacing. Highly carbonated. I would call this an above average pale lager.

22 oz. bottle, has a very clear pale gold pour with a fizzy head of white bubbles that settle to make a ring and sparse cover, light malt aroma, some bread and sweet bread fragrances, smells pretty sweet for a pale lager, light malt flavor with a small bitterness, not much else except for something off in taste? hard water? metal? It smells better than it tastes and a typical light Pale Lager, glad it is not skunky for all the traveling it does to get here.

Poured clear light golden yellow, malty, little hops, slight corn, slightly skunky.

Pours crystal clear yellow with a thin white foam. Aroma is sweet skunk. Very bad taste of grain and rice.

Pours a white head that fades and a pale straw color body. Smells of malt and skunk. Flavor is sweet pale malts and some hops with a little skunk mixed in.
