CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 25, 2007 Pours a mostly opaque with dark mahogany edges and a thin, wispy-lacing dark tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet dark caramel and chocolate malts with some mild earthiness. Body starts fairly full with a nice, light sweetness and well-dissolved carbonation drying out more toward bittersweet, earthy dark chocolate finish. A pretty good dry stout. hopdog (4647), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 9, 2007 12oz bottle. Poured a dark black (with brown edges) and an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of roast, chocoalte, and light coffee. Tastes of roast and coffee. Tastes on the thin side. Body thin and watery. BückDich (4558), Boise, Idaho, USA Nov 27, 2007 Bottle: Dark black. Nose of light roast and a touch of licorice; tar, tobacco (maybe). The flavor is thinner, some light coffee. A bit lacking in intensity, moderately malty but not enough caramel or body.
