I had this at the iconoclastic Fog City Diner in San Francisco with an unbelievably delicious cobb sandwhich. The waitress told me it was a Gordon Biersch brew made just for the restaurant-- can’t confirm this. Anyway, it came in a nice shaker glass, slightly orange golden, a little hazy with a thin white cap. Saazy hop aroma, woody and leafy. More like a Bohemian pilsener than anything, but actually really nice. The whole vibe of the afternoon was great, which of course plays into the rating.
