Nov 2, 2009 (bottle) Slightly unclear, golden to light amber colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Sweet malty aroma with fruity notes of pears and shy herbal hops in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly strawy malty base with a tinge of cara-malt and again subtle pear-fruity flavours; medium-dry, sweet malty and shy bitter finish with subtle notes of pears in the aftertaste. Clean and easy-going; might be a good session beer but I have expected a more hops-accented brew as this brewery normally produces solely one Pilsner-style beer. 02.XI.09
