Quack-Duck (1829), Bodensee, Germany May 29, 2008 bottle. Clear golden yellow, medium-size head. Malty and slightly sweet with hints of grain. A tinge of salt is in the resiny hoppy finish. Dorqui (1285), Brescia, Italy Jan 28, 2007 Updated: Sep 13, 2007Bottled 0,50L. Shining yellow color with good fizz and duration. Compact and adherent head, not much resistant one. Simple but pleasant scent with aromas of malty, hoppines and dry cereals. Pungent and fresh taste, with pleasant bitter content but little balanced at the end. Papsoe (10259), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 3, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Sweetish, malty and bready aroma. Medium body completely dominated by sweet malt and some grassy notes. Subdued bitterness. 281106 bridge (659), Sydney, Australia Dec 30, 2005 Clear golden liquid with big bubbles coursing upward through the liquid propping up the fast disappearing head. Biscuity malt aroma, with an initial burst of hay-like hop aroma. On taste some buttery diacetyl comes through. The flavour is not bad to start, but the sweetness starts to dominate as it goes down. Typical euro lager, a bit thin and no depth. winkle (441), Brisbane, Australia Nov 24, 2005 Bottled: Pale straw body, very tight smallish head, and heavy carbonation (small bubbles). Pretty typical grassy euro lager hop nose with some maltiness. Flavour was again pretty standard for a euro lager but it does have a sweet malt presence and some balancing bitterness. OK.
