Big resinous pine notes in the aroma make my mouth water. Solid piney bitterness is not over the top but still very assertive. A bit of citrus at the finish. This could be a daily drinker. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Orange in the glass with a tall creamy off-white head that mostly lasted and left good lace. Nice hoppy floral aroma. The flavor finds pine and citrus with a light malt backing. Medium body, crisp yet smooth. Very nice IPA! nimbleprop (941), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA

Aroma pine, hop resin and oils with some tropical fruits. Crisp, clean flavor or oranges, pine and citrus zest. Flavorful and drinkable. Quick side note: Jamie and the guys from Foothills were without a doubt some of the nicest guys at the entire event. BleacherBum (176), Blowing Rock, North Carolina, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 4, 2007 Sweet hoppy aroma with hints of light citrus and pine. Clean, crisp flavors of hop, citrus and fresh cut grass. Aftertaste is malty while still being crisp and dry. No lingering bitterness on this one. Surprised at how drinkable this IPA is for as much flavor and balance it packs. Very light (in a good way). Smooth and refreshing! A great session IPA and yet another solid offering from a brewery that’s only been around for a couple of years. Love it. ksurkin (408), Norfolk, Virginia, USA

Poured right through fresh hops, my 2-oz pour had about 5 little hop leaves in it. Nice hop bitterness and good skunkiness. Citrus and intense up front, but lovely back palate. A great way to enjoy this brew. Nice one! maugus4ever (121), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA
