Dec 15, 2008 Really good IPA. This was surprisingly similar to the Seeing Double. I thought it would be more toned-down, but toned-down is not a good word for this IPA, which remains quite strong and hoppy, in order to light your cowboys fire.

Aug 24, 2006 Growler at Ale Atlanta. Pours amber with a mostly receding white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, and mango. Taste is similar, and well hopped. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Impressive ipa!

Dec 16, 2008 On draft at the Flying Saucer in Raleigh. Very clear orange pour with a string of head around the edge. Floral hoppy aroma comes through nicely. Lots of grapefruit and other citrus notes coming through in the aroma and flavor. Lightly grassy and spicy as well. Hop dominant, but lightly balanced by caramel malt. Quite tasty and one that I will order often!

Oct 11, 2009 Sampled at charlotte octoberfest 2009. Clear light orange color. Aroma is very strong with some citrus fruit and a syrupy sweetness. Flavor is tasty hops again with mostly pine and grapefruit sort of bitterness.

Nov 1, 2009 Sampled at the 13th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Orange-red, white cover. Big herbal pine hop aroma, caramel. Taste is big bitter pine herbal spiciness, and good caramel to back up the hops.

Oct 2, 2009 Orange pour with no head. Citrus aroma with hops, flavor of lemongrass and some orange peel. Balanced flavor, not too bitter but still finishes strong.

May 4, 2009 On tap at Raleigh WBF. Pours a clear copper with a thin beige cap that leaves sticky lacing. Aroma of resiny and piney hops, caramel. Taste is grapefruit with piney hops and caramel with some citrus light fruits showing through. Piney finish. Very enjoyable. Yum.

Feb 4, 2009 On Tap at Harrison’s in Cary, NC - this brew poured a nice orange color with a thin white head and decent lacing. The aroma was lots of floral hops, grapefruit and pine. Taste was straight forward hoppy with the grapefruit, lemon and a slight detection of spice to round out the great flavor. Nice solid IPA.
