| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 16, 2006 draught. The pour produces a full copper boddy with a solid, dense white head. The aroma is crisp, bright, and spicy with well balanced notes of grapefruit, pine, and caramel. The flavor is a moderate attack of prickling, peppery hops which is almost washed away by sweet caramel and leafy herbal notes, but manages to linger on the palate. Hoppyum has a semi-sticky mouthfeel and is an excellent IPA for any occasion, though I’d reccomend the Seeing Double for an occassion which requires true hop onslaught. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2007 Draft at FB. Glowing orange pour, translucent body. A thin white head appears creamy and has modest retention and lacing. the aroma is very clean, full of pine, lightly toasted malt in moderation. Very green and fresh. Alcohol is undetectable. The flavor has light hints of caramel that are quickly subdued by medium bitterness, light acidity, light sweetness and soft orange notes. The mouthfeel is highly carbonated, crisp, light bodied and very quenching. Finishes dry, crisp and lively, brief but satisfying. ucusty (1913), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

Simcoe is obvious in the flavor, but not overbearing and matches in perfect harmony with the other hops. Bitter finish. Very tasty. nickd717 (1389), Palo Alto, California, USA
