| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Clear light golden color with a lasting white head. Aroma is wheat, banana, clove, and citrus. Flavor wheat and pale malt, yeast, banana, and lemon. Very light and crisp on the palate, if a little weak. Pretty good for the style. agl108 (503), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 2, 2009 On tap at the brewpub as their seasonal. Pours a hazy very light golden yellow with a nice soapy pure white lasting head. Aroma is lemon zest, and good bready pils and wheat malts, with a good estery banana aroma but balanced with a spicy phenol kick- all balanced nicely. Flavor is clean, a bit yeasty, some doughty wheat, and good phenol/ester profile- overall everything kept in check but not "too" clean. Nice. arventresca (340), Greenville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 10, 2009 Tap at Canes game. Not a wheat fan but determined to try anyway. Well since I don’t care for the style I can’t give it a fair rating but I didn’t enjoy this one. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Aroma of citrus and clove. Flavor was light, with bananas and clove. KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 13, 2008 I liked this, an above average hefe for sure. Of course no one is reading my ratings with any regularity, but as I’ve said time and time again they all look and taste almost the exact same with minimal differences from good to bad (at least brewpubs in America).
This one was slightly above average across the board in my opinion. lithy (1650), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 13, 2008 Sampled at the 12th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Cloudy whitish yellow with almost no lasting head. Citrus bubblegum and slight coriander. Smooth but light wheat body and more citrus and banana/clove yeasty funk. Light spicy dry finish. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 10, 2008 On draft at the brewery. Pours a cloudy mustard color with small ring of slightly off-white head. Aroma has a yeasty funk and some sulfer nose. The flavor lost the sulfer qualities and gave way to banana, pepper, clove and lemon. A little astringent with a medium body. Ever-so-slightly better than your average hef.
