On draft at the brewpub; poured a minimally cloudy gold color; good amount of white head. Aroma of clove/yeast/bana. Flavor was what you would expect of the style; but fairly ordinary. Overall it was a slightly below average example of the style.

Draught at Brewpub in WS. Cloudy orange, with small, white head. Aroma is strong banana with some clove. Flavor is similar, and typical of a hefe. Good example of style, but not too extraordinary.

A well done hefe, with the expected banana clove aroma, rich foamy head and cloudy maize body. Well crafted, but run-of-the-mill.

Sampled at the Brewpub. Poured a pale, cloudy yellow with a white head.Bananas and cereal on the nose. Malt, cloves and banana on the buds. This was quite refreshing. A decent Hefe, not bad.

Pours out a slightly cloudy yellow color with a small white head. aroma is sweet and slighty wheaty. Flavor was rather thin but had the typical banna taste to it. not a bad hefe

Pint @ Brewpub. 8/6/07. Good aroma. Fruity. Yeasty, clove, banana, lemon (no lemon slice). Clean golden orange color, minor lacing. Bittersweet flavor, Like aroma. Little metallic, some apple. Lite creamy mouthfeel, crisp bitter finish. Tasty, easy to drink hefe. I liked the apple I got on the finish

opaque light orange, big creamy cream colored head, thick layers of lace, light banana and clove aroma, banana and clove flavor is well balanced, just a touch of sweetness, would like to try a batch with an earlier generation of the yeast to see if there is more sweet banana to be had,

Rating: 3/5.0

Draught at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with white head. The aroma is bread, light banana, and some zest. The flavor is lemon cookies, but not quite as sweet. Some light yeasty banana esters are in there, too. The aftertaste is grainy, and some alcohol is evident far after taking a sip. Decent.
