Copper pour with light tan head and lace. Caramel malt aroma. With a sweet caramel malt flavor. A tad thin and watery, but still a decent drinker.

Strongly caramalty nose. A dirty gold/amber color. Typical oktoberfest buttery finish.

On draft at the brewery with my freshmen roommate. Pours a beautiful clear rusty brown with decent light tan head. aroma is a bit weak caramel nose with a hint of butterscotch. Flavor is about what you expect for an ofest, but adds a light floral hop and a vegetal note as it warms. About average for the style.

Amber pour with off white head. Caramel in aromas and malts. Flavor was malty with some roasted and toasted flavors. A little more watered down than most Oktoberfests though, which hurts the score.

Draft at the brewpub. Orangish-amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is bready/caramel malt. Flavor is more of the same, mostly malt-driven as the style usually is, with nuts and a tiny bit of roast. Clean and medium-bodied. Pretty good for the style, but only average overall.

Sampler @ Foothills: Beautiful orange pour with a bubbly white head. Nice bready malt, some toasted caramel. What you would expect for this style. Nice nutty flavor, smooth malts in finish, bit of caramel, bit nutty. Nice overall but not the absolute favorite one of this style I have ever had.

A good, but not great Octoberfest. A little bit tart and the flavor seemed a little too quick hitting. It was good, but then it was gone. Not a lot got left behind as an aftertaste, nothing lingered.
