Copper pour with light tan head and lace. Caramel malt aroma. With a sweet caramel malt flavor. A tad thin and watery, but still a decent drinker.

Oct 3, 2009 On draft at the brewery with my freshmen roommate. Pours a beautiful clear rusty brown with decent light tan head. aroma is a bit weak caramel nose with a hint of butterscotch. Flavor is about what you expect for an ofest, but adds a light floral hop and a vegetal note as it warms. About average for the style.

Oct 2, 2009 Amber pour with off white head. Caramel in aromas and malts. Flavor was malty with some roasted and toasted flavors. A little more watered down than most Oktoberfests though, which hurts the score.

Aug 31, 2009 Updated: Sep 24, 2009Draft at the brewpub. Orangish-amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is bready/caramel malt. Flavor is more of the same, mostly malt-driven as the style usually is, with nuts and a tiny bit of roast. Clean and medium-bodied. Pretty good for the style, but only average overall.

Jan 19, 2009 Sampler @ Foothills: Beautiful orange pour with a bubbly white head. Nice bready malt, some toasted caramel. What you would expect for this style. Nice nutty flavor, smooth malts in finish, bit of caramel, bit nutty. Nice overall but not the absolute favorite one of this style I have ever had.

Nov 17, 2008 Draught at GABF 2008. Clear amber - offwhite head. Berries, malty, sweetness, grassy, honey, sulfor, flowery. Nice.

Oct 13, 2008 A good, but not great Octoberfest. A little bit tart and the flavor seemed a little too quick hitting. It was good, but then it was gone. Not a lot got left behind as an aftertaste, nothing lingered.
