On tap this ESB poured a copper color with a thin head and minimal lacing. nose of earthy hops, malt and bicuit. Taste was very bitter with a decent malt and quality. Slightly fruity follow up. Decent brew.

On tap at the brewpub. Light red with a thin head. Aroma is fruity esters, good English malt and yeast character with an herbal tea and slightly flowery hop presence. light caramel and toasted malts, moderate sweetness and a nice fruity ester profile- slight tea-like hops, and a clean finish. Got a bit boring though as it warmed and thinned out a bit. Meh.

(Rating #2300)

On draft. Pours an amber color with a thick white head. Fairly thin. Some hops in the aroma, and a little earthiness as well. Flavor is sort of flat, touches of malt and barley and hops. Not my favorite from this brewery.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours copper bordering on red with white head. Earthy hop nose with some bakery aromas. Mild malt and bitterness. A bit of berries in the finish.

Amber pour with garnet hues. Fluffy off white head and drippy lace. Caramel malts and a light twist of hops on the nose. Crisp clean flavor with some mild hop bitterness. Very decent for a style I personally find mediocre.

Sample @ Foothills: Pours a red-amber hue. NIce and crisp, and very mildly bitter but not hoppy. It is almost as if the carbonation was responsible for the bitterness or something weird like that. No real flavor beyond just ’average’.
