Summertime Brews Fest, pours a pale hazy golden brew. The aroma is sweet and grassy. Has a slight hop bite, sweet, grassy flavor.

Draft at FB. Clear gold body, thin white head with good retention. Very standard. The nose is grassy, with notes of cereal grains, honeycomb, light citrus, light clove and milder still herbal hints. The flavor is lightly bitter, lightly sweet and has hints of bready grains and orange. Finishes crisp and bready. Mouthfeel is actually quite nice, very balanced, crisp and well carbonated. If only the rest of the beer had anything to become excited about...

Tap. Miniscule white head (actually just a ring around glass). Clear semi-sparkling, golden body. Aromas of grass, lemon, hops, and a touch of spices are all noticed. Flavor is barely there. Very easy to drink.

On tap at the brewpup. Was pretty boring and standard; an attempt to appeal to the masses. Least enjoyable on my trip.

On tap at the brewery. Not a ton of aroma, but fairly flavorful. Lightly bitter hop finish. Not bad.

Souped-up budweiser. I suppose that this one is for the girlfriends or mates that get dragged to the brewpub but don’t like flavorful beer.

Pours oak into the glass, with a retentive head and sudsy lace. If any nose, an airy confectioner’s sugar. Some slight corn and esters intermingle with a muddy wheat. Obvious pale malts at work here, at least in my keg, leading to the light biscuit finish. This is perhaps a bit overcarbonated, light mouthfeel - but substantial, given the lower ABV. This reminds me not of an American wheat, but more of a complex Kolsch.... it also reminds me of a lighter version of the Pilot Mountain Pale Ale. (I think I liked this a bit more than the other raters.... as most, straight from the brewer’s tap...)
