Commercial Description:
Foothills' first high gravity beer may have you Seeing Double. The hops are balanced with just enough body to craft a highly drinkable brew. Expect a full body and a hint of citrus from the seven varieties of hops added to the brew. IBU: 130.

Draft @ Foothills: Really glad I got a chance to try this when I was here. Nice orange pour with some amber highlights and a creamy sticky white head. NIce aroma of citrus and pine, as you’d expect. Nicely carbonated with a relatively aggressive bitterness. Quick finish as compared to other high gravity brews, however that was the only real significant ding in this beer.

(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a tall aggressive off-white head. Aroma of toasted grain, pine, grass, and grapefruit. Flavor of hops (pine, citrus), toasted grain, and caramel malt.

Growler from brentk57. Some nice citrus and floral hops on the nose. Some pale and caramel malts too. Amber pour with a lasting head and thick sticky lace. Toasty sweet malts with juicy citrus and earthy bitterness. A little sweeter than hoppy, but a nice bitter finish. A little alcohol heat. Good. I can see this being pretty killer on tap.

Draught at GABF 2008. Clear golden - white head. Honey, high hoppy, knækbrød, swedish flatbread, light sticky body, citrus, resin, light grass, high hoppy.... lovely.

Growler. Thanks, Riverside! Crystal clear medium amber. Thin gray rim with webby lace. Pine and biscuit nose. Nice creamy body on the high side of medium. Mild carb. Biscuity, piney. Nice. Very, very understated for a DIPA, except for the sweetness, which is overstated. This may have been better right from the faucet, but, overall, it’s a big sweet barleywine-ish ale with a somewhat confused hop bill.

BrianK thanks for the share. Amber orange body with a thin off white head. Pine, citrus, grapefruit and pretty malty. A serious hop bomb i had trouble finishing as im a malt head. Grapefruit dominating just so bitter.

Pours an orange-gold flavor with a frothy off white head. Floral citrus aroma. Full body, hoppy, malty flavor with a hint of sweetness. One of my favorite IPAs

Nice IPA... Strong hop flavor with a nice body. Not my favorite but it was good and I would certainly have it again.
