Clear amber pour with a fleeting white head.
The aroma is a well balanced combination of flowery hops and light malt that is echoed in the flavor. Overall, this stays to the bitter side of IIPAs. A bit of alcohol hits the tongue with this one as well. Pailhead (2597), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

Growler: The aroma is very fruity with notes of orange, pineapple, caramel, and faint pine. It pours a dark amber with a touch of haze and a small off-white head that quickly fades to a ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with a moderate dose of caramel with some hints of oranges. It finishes moderately bitter with notes of pine and some grapefruit. The caramel seems to build into the finish as well. Moderate piny aftertaste lingers for a while. Medium-full bodied with mild carbonation and a slight syrupy mouth feel. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA

Pours an orange color with a thin little white head. Strong grapefruit aroma with a piney background. Strong citrusy flavor with a noticeable but not unpleasant alcohol finish. Made me think of tangerines and christmas trees. Big tasting beer. shp555 (1688), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Poured a clear deep orange color with a tight white head. Sharp, strong pineapple and grapefruit hop aromas assault the nose. Viscous sticky palate. Strong deep pineapple taste dominate with the finish marked by a rich sweetness. A unique DIPA, in that I haven’t had one with quite the flavor this one has. redlight (1487), Winter Park, Florida, USA

Sweet upfront, then great hop flavor kicks in. Great bitterness, almost oily on palate. slang (404), Columbia, South Carolina, USA

Others drinking w/ me talked about the smell too, from across the table. Great looking, deep amber. Clear, I recall. The bitterness was moderate and the beer, surprisingly drinkable. I throughly enjoyed this one, and wish I had bought a growler. yespr (12311), Copenhagen O, Denmark
