Commercial Description:
Foothills' first high gravity beer may have you Seeing Double. The hops are balanced with just enough body to craft a highly drinkable brew. Expect a full body and a hint of citrus from the seven varieties of hops added to the brew. IBU: 130.

Atlanta Cask Ale tasting, 2008. Pours a hazy light amber. Aroma of fresh hop. Simcoe is very present. Taste is also very hoppy and smooth, with plenty of citrus and some pine. A very nice IIPA. Cask may have smoothed this one out. Big hoppy finish.

8/4/8/4/17 - Sample from growler thanks to Bleacherbum. Amber color with a light-med white head. Aroma has some nice floral-grapefruit mix to it with a pleasant bit of sweet malts. Flavor has a nice hop mix with grapefruit/citrus, floral, earthy, and other freshly picked hop flavors melding together well. Nice use of malt here as well, plus a pleasant finish. The kind of beer you could drink all damn day.

On tap at Foothills brewpup. I enjoyed this one alot. Very drinkable and hoppy all in one. Syrupy and slightly sticky mouthfeel. Sweet taste throughout. Caramel, citrus and fruit; with a substantial bitterness at the end.

64oz. growler, with a big thanks to Brentk56 for giving me the chance to try one of my long time Want list beers! Pours a clear dark amber with a large creamy off-white head that leaves great lacing. Aroma is a nice blend of pine and citrus, with some lesser notes of caramel and floral. Flavor is a nice bite of citrus and pine, with floral accents and a creamy caramel backbone. A nice lingering bitterness to go with a smooth mouthfeel. This one lived up to all I’d hoped, thanks again Brent!

On tap. Great, super smooth for this type of beer. The initial flavor is not overpowering with hops or malt. Citrus flavored, but not bitter in the taste. The bitterness comes all in the finish, which lingers. No taste of alcohol. Unbelievably drinkable. Mild toasty caramel malt flavors as well, to add some balance.

#300. Shared with Dragonstout, like most of the milestones. Tap at Foothills. Pours a neon reddish color with a frothy white head. Heavy hints of candied sugars, simcoe hops, and citrus fruits. Finished with a good body and stuck to the palate well. I need a growler of this!

Draft, pint glass...very tasty double IPA, citrusy but not very bitter, nice color with not much head, silky and warm, it will do more than make you see double...it will numb your tongue too.
