Bottle: All I could think of is Eddie Murphy in "Coming to America" when he plays the lead singer in the group "Sexual Chocolate." Anyone own a copy!?! Anyway, a great brew. Thick, dark and oily brown with a brown head. Sweet, espressio molasses in aroma and flavor. also some burnt notes with a dry aftertaste. I liked it. Its no Abyss or Black Gold, but its up there. Thanks Jake65!

Bottle thanks to Tomdecapolis. Bomber #15 of 500 from last years batch. Pours a nice chocolaty brown color with some orange highlights and a small but lasting tannish beige head. Aroma is dried dark chocolate and cocoa powder, with some nice fresh roasted coffee- and chocolaty bitter espresso. Good flavor with more chocolate not too artificial- just some coca nibs and powder, some semisweet chocolate notes as well- good body with some thickness, and good amount of sweetness, but not overpowering and lets some bitter chocolate and roast come through. Finishes nice, not too bitter, and doesnt seem fake.

dark black with an average tan head. Aromas of chocolate, licorice, a bit of alcohol and some coffee. Nice and full soft body. The licorice and roasted malts really shine through finishing with a solid bitterness.

Rating 600. Bottle 314 acquired via trade with mcferc4...THANKS ROB!!! Aroma of bitter Godiva, dark roasted malt, slight coffee undertone, and burnt marshmellow. Simple flavors...not nearly as complex as others in the style. Overly sweet, somewhat cloying, sticks to the palate. Need an H2O chaser with this one. The hand numbered bottled definitely impacts this beers rating. Very good but not one of the best.

Draft @ GABF. Poured pitch black with ample brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, anise and chocolate. Taste was filled with coffee, caramel, chocolate and brown sugar. Long finish. Great effort.
