Light grass and creaminess. Some biscuits and bread as well. Super drinkable. Not too light or watery. PilsnerPeter (2667), Flushing, New York, USA

Dry crackery pils aroma with a mild grassy character. Crisp body and a nice dry flavor. Crackery and very clean- lean but firm with solid saaz zest on the back. What a pils should be. Nice. Pours a nice golden with a lasting white head and some lace. Aroma is lightly nutty- good big doughy and fresh bready malts and a nice not too strong herbal and floral hop note. Hops get a bit spicier in the flavor which is nice to cut through the pilsner doughiness, and fresh bread- ok nice green hops, and awesome floral and herbal hop tones. Finishes crisp and clean. Super fresh- a couple other places the beer seemed a bit too creamy, less crisp and more doughy- wheat messy and other things going on with their tap lines. Fresh at the brewpub this was awesome! | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 17, 2009 A pretty dark gold pour for a pilsener, off white head. Malt, yeast, light citrus and pineapple aromas. Malt, lightly Biscuity with some citrus fruit flavors. Lively mouthfeel, just enough so. Clean malt and hop finish. The Victory Prima Pils is still my favorite from an American brewer, but this was pretty darn good as well. dkachur (2439), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
