hopdog (4779), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 11, 2004 On tap at Rams Head Tavern. Poured a light yellow with no head. Watery and flat tasting. Nothing really to say other than it is a light beer (if it didn’t come with the sampler, I wouldn’t have ordered it). DocLock (4175), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 13, 2004 Pours pale yellow, with aroma of slight hops and malt. Tastes very smooth and crisp, with some hops and citrus at the finish. Not bad at all as far as light beers go. bu11zeye (3887), Frisco, Texas, USA Apr 9, 2006 (Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of grass and florals. Flavor is malty and watery. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA Jul 18, 2006 (12 oz bottle: Obtained 06-May-06 in trade with Otter, thanks Jeremy!) Not really a light beer such as what the BMCs out there make -- it has more flavor than that -- but the problem is the flavor isn’t enjoyable. Cheap-tasting, mildly sweet graininess and a hint of bitterness up front, but while the beer can’t even attain mediocrity, it degrades into an awful cardboard finish. Smells like a cheap lager with cardboard but no skunk. Light-bodied and mildly carbonated, this certainly has a lot more body than the typical light beer, but the stale mouthfeel makes me want to have my tongue scraped. Medium-straw in color with slight haziness. Smallish, white head fades to a tiny ring. It’s really a mystery to me why a craft brewery would produce swill like this. Must a "light" beer taste bad? This is just not an enjoyable beer. maniac (2023), Richmond, Virginia, USA May 12, 2008 On tap at the Dominion Brewpub. Clear pale straw body with a small frothy white head. Faint corn aroma. Light corn flavor, very little else. Light body with moderately high carbonation.
