Bottle: Poured a yellow color with a white head. The aroma was bitter malts and wheat. The flavor was wheat, yeast, citrus, lemons, spice all mixed with a pilsner. Overall, not bad, just not great.

Bottle... Light golden orange color, small head. Aroma of sweet banana. Taste is sweet banana as well, a little to sweet in my opinion. Not bad though. Lots of carbonation. Overall I have had better hefe’s

Pours a rather typical clear pale yellow, but it does have a fairly thick and fluffy white head. Strong aroma is wheaty and yeasty and has a slight hint of citrus. Flavor is smooth and wheaty with a touch of lemon, not complex but perfect for bringing a ray of sunshine into a gloomy day. Texture is rich and smooth and just a little fizzy.

Poured from the bottle at the UD game. The aroma was fairly typical, some bananas and fruity esters with some cloves (no phenolic complexity, though). The flavor followed, some straw in there, as well as some salty elements. The body was somewhat on the lighter side for the style, the appearance not big and bold, though. An ok HW.

From a bottle poured a hazy yellow color with a good amount of head. Nice wheat beer flavor. Citrus, banana flavor and lasting finish.

Appearance: Pours out a hazed, burnished gold body with a brief, white head. Smell: Nose of tangy wheat malt with a hint of wheat chaff and the obligatory notes of bananas, cloves, and citrus. Taste: Sweet, tangy malted wheat as well as some crisp barley. The sweet malts step aside for tastes of banana, lemon, and light clove. Minimal hop presence with no more than a small hint of bitterness. One last touch of wheat on the semi-dry finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Creamyish mouthfeel. Drinkability: Take it or leave it. NWW is by no means the best hefeweizen around, but it gets the job done, I suppose.
