Tastes citrusy, with wheat, banana, cloves, and hops at the finish. Very well balanced and very complex. scraff (1954), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2005 Fresh batch just released - Savage Mill. Hazed bright yellow, thick creamy white head. The nose was full of bubblegum, vanilla, banana, clove, and lemon meringue, with light tones of white bread coming in late. Flavor matched the above aroma, but gets an additional moderate wheat tone from start to finish. Real nice and pretty damn authentic if you ask me. Medium bodied, soft velvety carbonation, spiced, wheaty finish. A perfect summer thirst quencher...

Clean, refreshing taste; did not linger. Lacing on the glass stayed until the very end.- desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA
