Draught, Cafe Batani, Piazzale Michaelanelo, Firenze. At 6 Euros for a 200ml flute, probably the most expensive draught beer I’ve had anywhere in the world, and certainly one of the most scenic. Anyway, pale with a greenish tinge and a thinning white rim. Herbal fresh hop, dabs of eucalyptus and honey aroma. Quenching lemon and pine needle bite, slight dishcloth dankness, faint mist, earthy piney hop. Good lingering dryness, dip of breadstick. Lean, refreshing and citrussy pils. Top drawer Italian macro, was totally convinced it was German. Am I rating the right beer??

Discreta birra dal colore dorato, buoni sentori di malto e retrogusto con note leggermente amare, tutto sommato una pale lager leggermente superiore alla media delle italiane di grande produzione.

Bottle. Grassy aroma. Grassy flavor with a hint of citrus. Just a bit of hops in the finish. Very well drinkable, when served cold.

Foamy full lasting white head. Pale golden colour. Aroma is malty with corny, grainy and light hoppy notes. Flavor is moderately hoppy with herbal tones, ending in a moderately biter finish. Light bodied.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully gone head. Liht cardboardish aroma. Mild bitter, grassy and vague cardboardish flavoured with a distinct bitterness coming through. Ends dry and bitter.
