Standard gold amber in colour, big head upon pouring, leaves some ok lacing. Nose and palate are essentially malt driven but flavours come across as corn-like and stale. Some bitterness on the finish. turbothy (722), Bonn, Germany

Clear yellow body with an average, frothy, white head, mostly diminishing with a fair lacing; lots of tiny particles.
Light-to-moderate malty and hoppy aroma (herbal, maybe flowers) which disappears almost immediatly.
Flavour is lightly sweet with a moderate bitter character which becomes a bit stronger in the average lasting finish.
Light-to-medium body with a watery texture; lively carbonation.
Not bad for this kind of beer. bhensonb (4276), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Nice medium malt aroma with a bit of grape?. Slightly hazy brassy gold color with a white head that comes and goes. Leaves tatters of lace. Medium bodied. Starts with light grape, accompanied by medium dark malt. At least it’s medium compared to Bud. The finish has a touch of bitter to balance the malt, but that grape aspect lingers. Pretty decent for a "pale" lager.
