[Bottle @ Odense Tasting, 14th February 2009, remembered for Carsten BeerMouths fantastic 3 meals highend gastronomy.] Although it’s long time I’ve tasted these brewdrops I remember it as a nice bock in wine-clothing. Great for an italian brew!

Bottle. Thanks to Beerbiker. Pours brown with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose is sweet of rye-bread and sugar. Some caramel and bread. Medium bodied. Smooth. OK

Sweet, stong aroma. Malty sweet palate, too, and there is a fine hoppy finish. Way above other Italian macro beers, though it’s hard to find.

Thank you, Beerbiker
Pours deep brown with a small, creamy, beige head. Aroma has lots of rye bread and some caramel. Great, creamy mouthfeel. Sweet, malty, almost cloying flavour, but it is saved by a fair, hoppy finish.

Bottle. Clear, ruby-amber coloured, visible carbonation, firm creamy tanned head. Sweet wine, toasted/roasted malt and a tinge of alcohol in the nose. Moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied. Drier bitter-sweet finish with influences of brandy, sweet fruits and chocolate. Good, well balanced and well rounded Doppelbock................
