Commercial Description:
(Very Important Pils).

Pale yellow, small white head. Decent (cheap) hoppy aroma. Some Saaz-hops in the flavor, sweet malty in the finish. Wicked hoppy aftertaste. Supermarket chain -like pilsener. Barely drinkable.

Bottled. Pale golden colour, small compact head. Maize and alcohol in nose. Flavour is sweet horrible rubbery malty with hints of malts. Very unclean flavour in my opinion. Also alcoholic sting in it. Crap. Unclean.

Venice - Sweet and sour nose on this golden pils. Not much in the front end but it was bitter going down at least to give it some flavor.

Creamy and enough adherent foam. Yellow gold color, discreetly limpid and much bubbly. Medium scent, lightly watery and with decided notes of malt. Unexpectedly strongly taste; much alcoholic in the finish. Sufficiently pungent and much bitter.

Creamy white mostly lasting head. Deep golden color. Aroma is malty with corny, cereals and herbal notes. Flavor is moderately hoppy with light malty and hoppy tones, ending in a bitter finish. Light bodied.

Bottled. Straw yellow colour, low persistant white head with unequal size bubbles. Moderate hoppy aroma (flowers), light malty (honey, cereal, corn). Taste is light sweet, moderate bitter (herbal), almond aroma/taste in aftertaste, a bit metallic feel after few seconds. Thin, light body, dry texture. On tap, unpasteurized version: fresh, flowery aroma of hop, clean maltyness (honey). Light sweet (honey), round, smooth herbal bitterness than bottled. The rating of the draught one is: [5][3][6][3]-[12]

in florence on tap in forst glass: golden clear, nice fluffy head/big bubbles with air pockets. well balance malt/hop flavor for an italian pilsener or way better then american crap(macro-stuff). easy drinking and refreshing on a hot day with nice flavor. went back to this cafe just to have another glass....no more poroni or moretti for me!!
