Commercial Description:
1900 is a nod to the very things that got us where we are today- crisp, clean microbrews all from the belly of a little brewery tucked away in the outskirts of Old Town. The result is a superbly refreshing, bright and delicately balanced amber lager.

Tasting at CBF. Clear light golden, small white head. Nice malty aroma, notes of fruit. Taste has nice malt base, hops really come out. Good amber.

Had at the All Colorado Beer Festival in Colorado Springs on 11/7/09. Color is golden with good carbonation and a thick tight head. Aroma is a nutty roasted malt scent. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down with a smooth crisp feel. Finish comes in rich with a sweet malt flavor then a touch of hop flavor and an even bitterness. This is a very good Amber Lager with well balanced flavors.

"Tepid" is the first thing that came to mind, "boring" also popped up a few times, as well. Not a bad beer, no off flavors or anything like that, just kind of bland. Well made beer, just not to my taste.

Pours clear light amber, with a three finger beige head, good lasting lacing. Aroma of caramel, toast, and biscuit. Medium-light body, smooth and creamy. Mild biscuit, caramel, lightly spicy, and light earthy hop flavor. Balanced and drinkable.

Pours crystal clear orange amber with a frothy beige head that is substantial. Aroma of lightly toasted caramel malt and crisp citrus hop. Taste is mild caramel and hops along with grassy notes. Medium thin body with nice smooth carbonation. Finishes with some earthy flavors and mild hop dryness. Great for an amber.
