Commercial Description:
1900 is a nod to the very things that got us where we are today- crisp, clean microbrews all from the belly of a little brewery tucked away in the outskirts of Old Town. The result is a superbly refreshing, bright and delicately balanced amber lager.

"Tepid" is the first thing that came to mind, "boring" also popped up a few times, as well. Not a bad beer, no off flavors or anything like that, just kind of bland. Well made beer, just not to my taste.

Draft sample at the 13th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Amber in the glass with a thin but lasting white head that left good lace. Toasted malt aroma. The flavor also found toasted malt with a nut backing. Medium body.

Bottle split with scottyp at woody’s. Clear amber pour with decent tan head. Nose is semi sweet. The flavor is a little toasty and semi dry finish. As far as ambers go, this is pretty good.

Pours a clear golden with thin white head. Aroma of caramel malt, bread, hint of citrus. Very similar taste, nothing special but a solid amber lager.

Tasting at CBF. Clear light golden, small white head. Nice malty aroma, notes of fruit. Taste has nice malt base, hops really come out. Good amber.

Had at the All Colorado Beer Festival in Colorado Springs on 11/7/09. Color is golden with good carbonation and a thick tight head. Aroma is a nutty roasted malt scent. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down with a smooth crisp feel. Finish comes in rich with a sweet malt flavor then a touch of hop flavor and an even bitterness. This is a very good Amber Lager with well balanced flavors.
