Collins Chocolate Stout from Shangy’s and have been slowing going through it. Even with an aggressive pour I was not able to obtain more than light foam. Chocolate, roast malts and coffee flavors are part of the mix here, but nothing outstanding. Light bodied stout, little bitterness, but more of a middle of the road when it comes to flavor. It would have been more acceptable if the price tag matched the quality. jbuzz (664), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 15, 2009 Fort Collins Chocolate Stout poured almost black into the glass leaving a small tight head with good lacing. The aroma was of Dove Dark Chocolate. The flavor was chocolaty of course but there was also a strong taste of cola. It was sweet and smooth with a pleasant mouthfeel. zach8270 (2138), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 9, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Black pour with a thick and creamy tan head. Aroma is very dark and roasty with hints of coffee and some light hints of creamy chocolate. Roasted malts come through at the beginning of the flavor with a bitter and roasted coffee middle and a rather bitter roasted malt finish. Chocolate is very light in the flavor but comes through a bit in the aftertaste. A little watery, but good flavor. soyorganic (217), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jan 25, 2009 Bottle, black color. Aroma consists of dark chocolate and coffee, very nice. Roasted malt, barley taste is most dominate with hop and chocolate notes. It does have a watery feel but still a good beer. The bar has been set so high on stouts that this falls in the middle. Tastes like burnt bread, coffee, and a note of chocolate. Bitter finish that I really enjoy. Palidor19 (1798), Brandon, Florida, USA

Overall, the second best brew I had at the brewery...very tasty.
