Commercial Description:
Chocolate malt and roasted barley provide the dark color and fully body of chocolate stout. Toasy accents and a hoppy dryness add to this smooth brew. An old time favorite you'll remember.

Bottle. Pours black with a small light head. Aroma of roast, coffee, dark bitter chocolate. Flavor of sweet sugar, roast, bitter hops with a bitter finish. Weak palate, too sugary. Not very chocolatey either. Meh for me.

Bottle. Aroma of sugary chocolate, roasted malt. Flavor much the same, some bitter chocolate comes in, but remains pretty sweet throughout. Somehow never got cloying for me though, I guess there was enough hop presence despite the sweet predominance. I actually found it to be quite a pleasant drink, although nothing all that memorable.

Bottle. Pours black. Fizzy carbonated tan head, and some wet lacing. Roasted chocolate aromas, sweet brown sugar, some floral esters. Tons of roasted malts in the nose, and the chocolate comes through in the end. Bitter finish. Light bodied, refreshing and pretty drinkable.

Nice to see different Ft. Collins brews headed my way! Pours deep chocolate brown body with a tan head, that stays around slighlty, little staggered lacing, aromas of vanilla, chocolate, bread and nuts. Flavors of just about the same thing except licorice somehow blended in- nice beer all around. :)

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with amber hues and a large lasting frothy tan head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee grounds and light herbal hops. Flavour of cold coffee and roasted malt followed by light green hops, milk chocolate and an average bitter finish. Medium bodied. Well done, a nice version of the style -- I quite liked it.

Bottle, 12 oz. Pours black with a brown head. Chocolate malt aroma. Soft carbonation, almost flat. Maybe this was a bad bottle, but I think this beer lacks bite
