Commercial Description:
Chocolate malt and roasted barley provide the dark color and fully body of chocolate stout. Toasy accents and a hoppy dryness add to this smooth brew. An old time favorite you'll remember.

pours black with thin beige/mocah head. Aroma is malty, chocolate. Taste, roasted malts, light bitter chocolate, some hops and bitterness in the finish. Beer keeps an interesting coffee like aspect.

Light chocolate aroma, a bit like a Nestle bar. Flavor is dry chocolate. A bit thin, but very easy drinking.

Bottle. Poured brown with a light brown head. Decent aromas of chocolate and light coffee. The flavor found dark chocolate, coffee, and a light roast and hop background. Medium body and a roast aftertaste.

Pours very dark, almost a black colour. The head is small and forms an espresso like foam on the top of the beer. The beer is nicely aromatic with a good mocha character with a great chocolate on coffee balance. This certinally smells better than it tastes, not that it tastes bad per say but the chocolate seems to be working against the bitter burnt graininess, which should work better than it does. I gotta hand it to em’ though this is much drier than the passerby would expect from a "chocolate stout" Palate is a little watery and almost has kind a chalky character.

black but not opaque. ruby hued. very thin head with only a cream color. dry roasty aroma with more coffee than chocolate. milk chocolate shows in flavor along with a decent amount of roasted malts. the beer fails in the palate category with only a light to medium body and not much creaminess.
