Milk chocolate dominates the aroma with some, light coffee, roasted grains and some burnt toats. Color is a very dark brown. More chocolate in the flavor but it really takes a back seat to the dark roasted grains. Good bitterness and roastyness. Little bit on the dry side and not as sweet as expected. Finishes smooth and roasty. A pretty decent generic stout. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

First Impression: Aroma is nice, malty, syrupy, and dark. Visuals are absolutely black opaque body under a tan head that thins quickly. Taste is chocolate, coffee, malt, and roasty goodness. Delicious. Palate is thin, wet, and sweet. Finish is short lived and simply bitter. Second Impression - not a great beer, not overwhelming, but not bad. There are better beers for less per ounce than this one, but it was a fairly enjoyable experience.

Pours a black with a thin tan head. smells like roasted barley, coffee and cocca. Tastes like extra strong cocca and coffee like with a sweet and bitter after taste. On nitro it tastes like extra strong guiness. brewblackhole (1381), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

Beautiful brown head. Smell of coffee bean/cocoa. The flavor is light... easy to drink for such a dark and flavorful drink. Light body... love the sensations in the back of the throat. I’m highly impressed!

Nose of heavy roasted burnt bittersweet smells. Overroasted coffee and bakers chocolate.
Good flavor, follows the nose- heavy doses of roasted dark malt flavors, bitter chocolate, and some espresso. Bit much alcohol heat for the 8%, but not distracting. Flavors meld well together. A bit overdone on the carbonation, gives it a bit too much of a "zesty" character. Overall pretty good though. tennisjoel (947), Shakopee, Minnesota, USA

Pour is dark brown with a thin tan head. Chocolate and roast are the primary aromas of this beer with a slight touch of smoke in the background . Simple flavor but enjoyable brew.
