My bottle (22oz) shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev & garthicus -- courtesy of Kevin. Pours black with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Flavour of roasted malt, chocolate and light coffee -- it’s quite roasty! Average bitter finish. Average bodied. Pretty good.

Dark brown with a brown head. Strong roasted malt aroma with a little chocolate. Flavor mostly of roasted malts and a little dark chocolate. Pretty dry.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, and Garthicus, courtesy of Blankboy. Black, dark creamy tan head. Lovely aroma - dry roast, dry chocolate - excellent. Nice strong taste - strong roast, more dry chocolate, some hops in finish. A great strong chocolate stout, I’d like more of this one!

Thick black color with a thick, soapy head. Smells of roasted chocolate. The flavor’s more dark chocolate and some coffee. Not a complex or particularly strong flavor, just nice balance and well made. Finishes a bit sticky...good stuff.

Nice roastiness in the nose with a hint of chocolate, though mostly coffee and roasted grain. A bit thin in body. leathery and some pepper coming across in the taste. If this had more body, it could be a pretty good stout, but as it stands, comes up a bit short. Nice though.

Bottle (22oz). Shared by blankboy with garthicus and tupalev. Opaque black, thick, smallish tan frothy diminishing pour. Roasty, slightly sour burnt malt, light herbal, stale coffee. Taste - same, dry, coffee beans, mild, cocoa. Light body, nice roasty astringency - quick finish, bitter mint/herbal aftertaste. Good, not much chocolate.
